Issues: Pay for Performance - misguided to say the least, many good workers never get the recognition they deserve because their Bosses are too busy to investigate the Awards/Bonuses programs under the current system. Accountability - Leadership, Management, Senior Level Courses; make mandatory at pertinent levels the appropriate training before promoted into each level. Indications are that this new system will solve the issues with the "Lack of Performance" in the workplace and resolve the manpower crisis through expedited hiring/promotion/etc. NSPS from what I have read will not change the systemic problems in the "Old" system rather will exacerbate the already defunct and lack of solid Heiarchy. Control is the issue, the lack of Leadership and Leadership Training would account for a higher standard in the workplace and morale to increase proportionally. Pay seems to be the carrot that is being dangled in front of the worker, everyone wants and needs to feel important and not just bought. Productivity sometimes has a higher price tag than Money. Problems in the workplace do not automatically point to the individual most of the time, poor management accounts for more workplace issues than the current or future pay scale could ever seem to correct. I am in opposition to this new system, it does not resolve the real issues and lends itself to "Workplace Nepotism". Like my dad use to say "don't take apart the car when you just need to fill it up with gas". This is just another opportunity for the Big Brother concept to take a giant step forward in the History of our country.
