Subpart B Classification: I disagree, DOD should not have authority to establish a new pay system completely outside the GS and WG systems. What about the implementing issuance that will be established later? If anything is going to be implemented it should be done in the process along with all others proposals, not later. The pay bands will replace pay grades and steps and I truly disagree because you are messing with our livelihood and the way our families are supported as FREE AMERICANS. Are we FREE AMERICANS? I don't think so. These pay bands will give your the authority to lower our pay without any reason and that is not right. We are FREE AMERICANS and with the NSPS DOD can abolish compensatory time, Sunday pay, night pay, hazardous duty pay and also holiday pay. This act is not putting the DOD mission first.
