Comments:
As a Department of Defense Education Activity employee, I am fully in support of the NSPS proposals. I have carefully read the material I have been provided through the website, and I believe the proposed regulations will have a positive effect on employee performance, morale, and ability to fulfill our mission. As a member of the bargaining unit (Federal Education Association), I have been appalled at the mis-use of collective bargaining, the damage done to our students by endless calls for Impact and Implementation bargaining over non-issues, and actions taken on behalf of bargaining unit members who have not made complaints, do not wish to be involved in grievances, and want to do better jobs. I am most pleased with what I have read about NSPS with relation to ensuring that changes in working conditions are truly changes.
