§ 9901.409 Rating and rewarding performance. (g) A rating of record may be challenged by an employee only through a reconsideration procedure as provided in DoD implementing issuances. This procedure will be the sole and exclusive method for all employees to challenge a rating of record. A payout determination will not be subject to reconsideration procedures. This is confusing. If the pay pool changes the rating, they will also change the shares which will automatically change the pay out. Need to say things like: cannot challenge the distribution of pay out between performance increase or bonus, cannot challenge the results of the share conversion percentage or dollar outcome, cannot challenge the money put into the pay pool.
