NSPS system as written. This moves the DOD work force backwards. We had problems in the pass of retaining personnel. Just the Town Meetings here at Wright Patterson AFB, on the NSPS system has got the younger employees looking for other employment. I'm proud of my profession and my association with the IAFF. I have seen many changes in the 20 years as a Fire Fighter in DOD. For the better of the employee and the employer. Personnel were dedicated and want to stay here. The private sector had the pay, benefits, and etc. to draw personnel from DOD. Now DOD is the place to work, with the pay, benefits, and brotherhood. I feel NSPS is a mistake, unfair and will loose employees. I'm a Vet, I don't understand, I'm speechless WHY??? I'm sure I'm here to stay with the years I have invested and my age. I must provide for my family. Does that mean I have to loose all the rights I've earn from hard work and dedication? I hope my government can make the decisions that will equally benefit the employer and the employee. Without forgetting that the union laborer built this country. The Vets protected it!!! Will the politician help it or hurt it?
