Deployment – Pages 7552, 7555 et al Many of us, myself included, are concerned about deployment. My background is in Contracting and Government Property and this expertise is in high-demand in Iraq and any other war-zone. I am a civilian Federal employee and twenty-year military spouse who has primary responsibility for our child. I think the recruitment and possibly non-voluntary deployment of civilians to war-zones might do more than any other single factor to keep good people away from Government employment (even though one of the stated objectives of NSPS is to make recruitment easier).
