Comments:
We are not private sector and we cannot operate like one. Their goal is dollars, ours is service. Their objective is quantity (product and profit), ours is quality(our warfighters needs, expects and deserves only the best). It may cost more but our warfighters win by being the best not by being the biggest. Skimp on support and you get what you pay for. If you need flexibility, enlist more military personnel or provide incentive for civil service personnel to VOLUNTEER for the duty assignment. Even our military people gets to volunteer, not forced into an assignment or risk ending his career.
