I have been in civil service for 30+ years and this is the first time I feel we are about to get screwed over. Those folks with tenure will lose all their seniority. I understand that you want to be able to hire people quicker and that is fine. But we don't deserve this kind of treatment after serving faithfully for so many years. That's fine if you would grandfather the individuals that came in under the old program. But don't screw with our lifes with this!!!! We know where this is coming from because the White House needs money to send overseas but they need to think things out before they act on them in the future. We shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes because they acted on impulse and expect things will work themself out. I have not heard one good comment about this "new program". Your government employees are already working the job of 3 or more individuals now because we don't have the money for new positions. How much more do you think they can take and now you want to force this program on us?
