Our country's Constitution was written with protections and interest for the people. We know this by what George Washington said when congress was debating this important document, "We kept steadily in view...the greatest interests of every true American". In keeping with that thought the Constitution set up three distinctive branches of government, the legislative branch, the executive branch, the judicial branch. Why did they do this? Well, it is so that one branch will not gain too much power, no checks and balances. Just as Patrick Henry said when arguing for a Bill of Rights to be added to the Constitution, "Show me an age and country where the rights and liberties of the people were placed on the sole chance of their rulers being good men, without a consequent loss of liberty". Meaning if one side has too much power / authority over the other side then there are chances where one side looses all protections and will be taken advantage of by the stronger side. That's exactly what NSPS does, it gives to much power / authority to DoD and not enough protections for the employees.
