Comments:
As a Department of the Army employee with 31 years of government service, it appalls me that the powers that be want to inflict this type of torture on the employees dedicated to their jobs. What a great way to portray to your employees that their job and financial security mean absolutely nothing. Since I'm not military, I would not expect to be "moved" at a moment's notice especially since that's not what I signed up for when I started my government career. Just the talk about this system over the past year or so is enough to destroy the morale of DOD employees worldwide. I would hope that clearer heads will prevail and someone will realize the detrimental effect this will have on all of us and on the government as a whole. Donald Rumsfeld needs to concentrate on improving the lot of DOD employees, not destroying it completely.
