Comments:

It is horrifying to note the National Security Personnel System's proposed regulations, namely those regarding any protection bargaining rights offered by unions, independent third party reviews of decisions and the right to a fair hearing for appeals. It is hard to believe that Congress has given the Secretary of Defense the right to load these boards with cronies. Taking a look at the proposed system, the "good ol' boy" is at work again. Thinking this system would keep good people in the work place, who is going to weed out the dead wood that is already in place? Certainly not the people in the higher positions. How do you suppose they got there in the first place. The whole system setup is frightening to me. There is no protection for our rights. The setup is pretty onesided. We have sent our military into Iraq so their rights in democracy can be expressed. Our rights are being taken away. Maybe our military is fighting the battles in the wrong places. The following proposals need to be investigated: NSPS regulation 9901.914 (d)(5) NSPS regulation 9901.910(a)(2) NSPS regulation 9901.907(a)(1) NSPS regulation 9901.807(k)(8)(iii)
