I think the NSPS is another step in the direction of contracting our jobs out to some Polititian's relative. It has been proven that it does not save money, it just gives one person most of the money, and when that happens, the employees do not have the money to spend in their communities, and they are not paying as much in taxes back to the government. As far as having more freedom to hire and fire, they can remove trouble employees if they put forth the effort. Hiring, it has been proven that there are ways to hire who they want. The employee may have to go to school, or, they have gone around Veterans to hire non-vets. I don't like the fact that your pay raises would be up to one person. If they don't like you, you would never get raises, or you may get fired unjustly. I enjoy my job and I go above and beyond the call of duty. I hope this is not the end of our careers and the begining of politics, because this is not in the best intrest of the American People or the Government.
