Why do you want to get rid of a system that is fair across the board and replace it with your plan? All I think about is bringing back the "Good Ole Boy" System when I read the proposed changes you want to implement. I don't believe you will have a civilian force willing to stick around because we will lose our since of security. That is one of the reason I chose to work for the US Government instead of going into the private sector. If the new plan is going to be implemented then I favor the private sector. Too much power will be given to management and a lot of power will be taken away from the union.
