Comments:
NSPS is a black void that we are asked to accept on faith. Faith that political cronies will not be favored over impartial civil servants. Faith that a “good old boy” network will not reemerge as the dominant model of federal service. Faith that people with disabilities will still be accommodated. Faith that the managers who rose to the top via longevity not managerial ability. Faith that specialized knowledge will be respected over sycophants. Simply, faith in a system that is now considered impractical. How gullible do the architects of this system think federal employees are? We do vote and are watching Congress for signs of respect and leadership.
