General Provisions Subpart A Since DoD can prescribe internal Departmental issuances, and if these are as broad as they usually are, then each agency will be able to write its own implementing directives. These directives could then vary greatly from one agency to another. There is already the perception that DSIO is the country club and DFAS is the hell hole, and these are with standard directives, the only difference is how the agencies interpret and apply them differently right now. The lack of specificity of these regulations is very alarming.
