Hello and thanks for the opportunity to comment. My concern is the pay banding-I've worked in 4 government agencies, and am finally in an upward mobility position (5/7/9). I am due to get my GS/7 this May and My GS/9 next May presuming of course I complete all standards. I am really concerned that the new system this may alter this progression. as well as alter many other people's career ladder. Many government workers have based their career, including moving to other states, upon these reliable grade progressions. I have worked really hard to get this job. Many are concerned that if and/or when these rules change, I /we may be lost in the shuffle. although positions are never guaranteed, at least we have know what to expect under the current system.
