It seems to me that NSPS and privatization is a disservice to the American taxpayers. This system will most likely benefit congressmen and wealthy Americans by putting skilled government workers into the private sector so that they can be used to generate profit for the wealthy. The work will still get done, but it will most likely cost more. I am a taxpayer and have been a dedicated public servant for the past 14 years and feel that the government is making a serious mistake by jumping into NSPS without thorough evaluation of the cost to the taxpayers. NSPS may also cause a hostile work environment, where government employees refuse to mentor younger, less experienced employees that they are in competition with. Personnel will be less likely to work together and help their neighbor if they are in competition for pay. NSPS will turn the government into the "good old boy system" where you may have to go golfing with the boss to get a better evaluation and better pay. Who will NSPS benefit?
