Subpart C, Pay and Pay Administration / Subpart D, Performance Management / Subpart E Staffing Employment and Subpart F, Workforce Shaping. I do not like/agree with the new proposed pay system, performance management, staffing employment and workforce shaping goals, as I know this will be very political and some of us, "the employees", will suffer for it. This opens the doors to personnel receiving more pay based on one person's opinion, i.e. the supervisor, or the commander which may be making pay decisions based on personality related reasons and/or prejudices held by that person, i.e. race, religion, sexual orientation, etc, or the person may make the decision based on one's job meaning that he/she may give a person better pay because he/she thinks the "job" that person holds is more important than the one someone else is doing even if both of these individuals are performing in an outstanding manner in jobs that may be similar or just as important to the mission. At my current agency, racism, sexism, cronyism, nepotism and several other negative "isms" affecting the work force take place routinely; this will only heighten that destructive practice. Individuals who play small to overcome the "ism” barriers do not serve the country well. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking one's self so that other people will not feel insecure around you.
