I would like to take advantage of my "Freedom of Speech" and state that I totally disagree with the NSPS reg. that the Government is trying to pass. We as GS employees are already way underpaid in accordence with the same or similar job description on the economy. Many of us stay employed with the GS system because of the Benefits ( which we can't afford on the outside ), and because of the location ( (and now they want us all to become deployable). This new System is unfair to those of us that are dependable and hard working. The employees that are working with unsatifactory job evaluations can be taken care of properly if thier supervisors would be encouraged to use the proper channels: Documentation, Documentation, Documentation. Supervisors have a strong tendacy to show favortism towards thier friends, with the new NSPS reg, this gives them the oppurtunity to give all the raises to thier friends and peers, and leave behind the employees that they have conflicts with. This is an unfair system that they are trying to pass. Please reconsider keeping the GS system intact worldwide as it now stands. GS Employee since 1996.
