This new pay system is perfect for the Supervisor and their buddies and friends. This system will be rampent with favoritism, the present system has enough. Taking away the COLA raises and step raises means some less favored employees will never get a reaise whether they do a good job or not. Good employees will suffer under this system if they are not ass kissers or favorites of their supervisor. I do not see how this could possibly influence people to go to work for the government or young employees to stay with the government. Privite industry could not stay in business with a system like this. I have been employeed by the USAF for over 20 years and this is NOT the agreement I had when I agreed to work here. The present system needs some tweeking but not a wholesale overhaul.
