5 CFR Chapter XCIX and Part 9901.212 Pay schedules and pay bands: The Classification system of pay schedules and pay bands gives no details or specifics as to how this will actually work--number of pay bands, grades/pay included, what happens to those with retain pay if they are outside the pay band assigned, is there any flexibility to go beyond the pay band, what career groups are included, etc. More specifics are needed before it is possible to comment. DOD needs to write exactly what/who is to be included and then give time for comments. Impossible to comment with the little information currently available.
