I am very displeased with the passing of the NSPS by our congressman and senators and Secratary Rumsfield. What does my pay, senority, promotion steps, veterans preference etc. have to do with national security? It is wrong to take our minimul annual pay raise away and let our supervisor decide our raise or if we even get one. There are just so many issues with the plan. All negative. I can promise you I will be contacting my district officials regarding this matter and let them know of my concern with their participation in this matter. With the advent of the NSPS and it's rules and regulations that will change almost everything for me as a bargaining member, the goverment makes me feel like I have done something wrong and now I'm being punished. Please tell me why nothing gets better. Take away this benefit, take away that benefit. It's tiring to say the least. Don't you know you get more and better work from a happy employee. You say morale is at an all time low. No wonder. Everytime we turn around we're losing something. The last good thing that happened was when we received flexible work schedules. (5/4/9 4/10) How long ago was that??????
