Page 12 - Performance and Behavior Accountability - The NSPS regulations provide for consideration of employee behavior as a performance factor, element, or objective, such as ‘‘teamwork/ cooperation. This comment almost forces relationships that aren't always there. I had a situation where my supervisor tried to get a contract in place that if I didn't get along with another employee, it was grounds for firing. My relationship did not affect my job performance or mission. But now my pay can be reduced because of bad performance because I don't get along with the "teachers pet". This gives too much authority to supervisors in organizations with large favoritism factors.
