Subpart F workforce shaping What is going to happen with the RIF procedures? If people are first classified by tenure, then that means all the terms will go. Well the governemnt raerly hires terms or temps anymore, anyway, the work is all contracted out. the next criteria will be veteran's preference. Will all vets stay and all non-vets go? If that is the case, will it make it easier or harder for vets to be hired? Who would want to hire a vet, knowing that in a RIF, they would be the last to go, regardless if they had an average performance rating for many years? Who would want to hire a disabled vet, with service related health problems?
