Supervisory TRAINING, that is where you should start. You are putting the blame for lack of job proficiency on the working class employee's. When you should start with training supervisor's on morale, training of employee's, supervisory training on rules and regulations and guidelines. What you do not know is there is still the good ole boy syndrone out there. One hand washes another. If you want to succeed then you should look at who is running the show and not who is working the show. Make supervisor's responsible for their employee's. Supervisor's need to be trained and that should be a part of their job position. Training on job ethics, working relations and efficiency would help the morale of employees. There is still racism out there also. There is a reason why they have affirmative action. Affirmative action is used because there was no trust in letting a supervisor make a proper decision as who to select fairly in a job position. There are so many things that have not been thought out or not released. Consider all facts when proposing changes. It is also a bad decision to let a worker who works hard for the first 2 months, be chosen over the knowledge of another employee who has worked for the Government 20 years. Which ends back from what was stated previously. Supervisors must be made to do their job. Lack of training, and direction and supervision, lack of ability to be fair and to communicate is what is needed. Let us supply them with knowledge not power to change ones life.
