I feel that the NSPS was slipped in on us, and the Union should have a say in this. It leaves a persons future in the hands of their supervisor, or any other person in charge, which is unfair. There are a lot of hard working dedicated Seniors, who may lose their jobs if there were to be a RIF. What would be the final decision on something like this? I feel that the COLA should be automatic, due to rising costs in health insurance, and other increases that occur each year. Training should not be limited to a formal education. There are many well trained, good workers who do not hold a Masters or other type of college degrees. Due to work load, I cannot give all my comments. I just wanted to touch on a few topics before the deadline.
