I have worked for the Govt for 28 years and will be getting to retire soon. The current system has been great. Under the new system, it will be so arbitrary that anyone can get fired just because your current supervisor doesn't like you. No cost of living increases, no step increases. These were the main reasons I worked for the Govt. I sure wouldn't recommend anyone else to go to work here. You can certainly count my comments as against this new policy.
