MY NAME IS RONDELIAN GAYLE BROWN AND I AM A UNION STEWARD, LOCAL 1764, AT TRAVIS AFB CA. I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT NSPS. I DO NOT WANT THEM TO LOWER MY WAGES, OR PAY RAISES. I AM A SINGLE PARENT AND NEED EVERY PENNY THAT I EARN, I AM ALSO A FEDERAL EMPLOYEE AND ALTHOUGH I DON'T MAKE MUCH, I DON'T WANT THAT TAKEN AWAY. I HATE THE IDEA THAT IF NSPS COMES THROUGH THAT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CHALLENGE MY PERFORMANCE REPORT TO AND INDEPENDENT ARBITRATOR. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO NEGOATIATE OVER IMPORTANT ISSUES SUCH AS WORK SCHEDULE ASSIGNMENTS, OVERTIME, FLEXTIME AND ETC. I AM ALSO A VETERAN AND DON'T WANT MY 10 POINTS OF VETERANS PREFERENCE TO NOT COUNT WHEN THERE IS A RIF. I WORK AT DAVID GRANT MEDICAL CENTER AND AS WE SPEAK THEY ARE ABOLISHING FEDERAL POSITIONS AND RUMOR HAS IT THAT SOME OF THESE POSITONS WILL BE REPLACED WITH CONTRACT EMPLOYEES. AS A UNION STEWART I WANT TO CONTINUE TO FIGHT FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DON'T HAVE A VOICE OR ARE TOO AFRAID TO SPEAK UP AND I LIKE THE IDEA OF BEING REPRESENTED TOO.
