I have great concerns for this new system. There are too many areas that are not clearly defined with specific details. I am also concerned about the extremely broad freedom management appears to have regarding pay, performance evaluations and disciplinary/adverse actions. There does not seem to be any effective checks and balances in place to protect the employees from unfair treatment or from the supervisor that is a tyrant or simply not effective as a manager. Employees will be subjected to unclear performance expectations, be "penalized" for circumstances beyond their control, etc. It appears as though management will have free rein to do whatever they deem necessary with little or no oversight from any impartial entities. How are we as employees to survive these potentially detrimental injustices?
