I have already commented on this new system early today, but I forgot to add this thought: I would hope that this new system could be "grandfather" in to place. I have 25 years in civil service. But I am not close to the correct age in order to retire. PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T mess up the good, hard working, dedicated employees who have invested ALOT to blood, sweat and tears into all these years. Social Security most likely with not be around when my spouse and I are eligable to retire, DON'T take my retirement from me too!!! I just can't seem to understand how this system can truly benefit any good, hard-working government employee. It will just benefit the ones who can figure out how to work the system and figure out how to pay-off their supervisors to keep those "high-paying/do-as-little-as-possible-the-buck" employees.
