1. I do not like the NSPS new system, I can not stand the idea of doing away with seniority, I have just started my 44th year and am the top step of my GS grade, I love my job and have always performed very well. I started at the bottom of the totam pole and did everything I needed to do workwise and have stayed a good employee. I am concerned that my pay can be affected after all this time. 2. I can not stand the idea of some young brown noser determining my appraisals and salary, just because this person playes golf or parties with the bosses. We already have problems with bosses giving employees who spend all there time with them and keep getting higher grades without even doing any work. I feel that this new system will encourage more of these type of things to happen, if all decisions are left up to the specific supervisors. The supervisors will have to spend a lot of time to be trained or it will just become a bigger good boy system with no standard rules. 3. I have seen people who are trouble makers or have actually done wrong things be given high appraisals to get rid of them and now they are the bosses. Others have become the bosses because they were sent to school to get rid of them, and now their whole man score is higher than anyone else. You expect me to trust them with my career and life. 4. I am so concerned that the Unions will not be able to function like they should.
