As a former E-7 in the Air Force who supervised civilian employees for the past 8 years, I welcome some of the proposed changes. However training will be the key for all involved. As that former supervisor I can attest to the lack of training I was provided with, in general it was here is the civilian continunity book read it and by the way civilian appraisles are do next week. (No kidding) My only real level of concern I have is pay, these changes were proposed by people who I'm sure have only good intentions, but they may not live at the lower end of the pay scale as a great many do. (The ones this change will affect most) Are we running into something when walking would be faster? From what I am hearing people are scared because they don't really know what will happen in the long term.
