Subpart C. The pay system requires employees to compete against one another for the pay handouts distributed. So much for team work. Why would one employee help another employee with completing an assignment if the other employee is going to reap the higher pay increase. Instead, the employee will most likely want to see the other employee fail. I see the system creating reasons for major conflicts within the office, and an office where workers work against each other. Let's see, haven't books been written about (1) businesses failing due to such working environments, and (2) the importance of team spirit in the workplace and why it results in success?
