The law requires that civilian employees suffer no loss of pay as a result of being converted into NSPS. Once covered by NSPS, employees' pay will be determined by the pay bands and performance management aspects of the final NSPS design. Comment # 1 The above statement is not clear. After the NSPS is implemented, can my current pay change and how? #2 As a civilian employee with nineteen years seniority I am very concerned about my future under this new system. #3 Why wasn't I formally informed about this change. I only know about this through "word of mouth". I haven't heard anything through management . I have serious concerns about the new system. I have had no meetings or information/introduction seminars to answer my personal concerns. # 4 Management currently does not take any time to award performance now, how can I be assured they will reward me for performance under the new system. Needing to be totally dependent on my management for my livlihood is very scarey. And, how can I be assured partiality will not play a big part in who gets raises and who doesn't.
