MSPB- the US Government has had a checks and balance system in place for nearly 230 years. I am concerned that the MSPB will become so degraded that employees will no longer have the balance system in place when in need. It is my understanding that an individual with 20 years of service can be terminated without just cause just so management can hire someone else at a lower salery in the intrest of saving money. I have enjoyed working for the DOD in one form or another for over 15 years and job security is the most important benefit I have. I am a patriot and its reflected in my appraisals. pay banding-pay banding- I understand any employer does not want to promote or reward deadbeats-but what of the loyal hard working employees who deserve advancement. how does the NSPS ensure a fair distribution of monies to those who are deserving. How in the world can NSPS govern managers to ensure the correct allocation of funds?
