I disagree with pay banding because: 1. It will encourage raises based on good-ol-boy friendships. 2. Yes-men do what the boss wants, in order to better their own position, rather than doing what is best for the organization and its customers. 3. It will base an employee’s livelihood on one person’s opinion.
