NSPS will create a more unfriendly, less teamwork oriented, more contentious work atmosphere. The reasons for this follow: NSPS is a terrible idea. It will lead to chronyism and good 'ol boy network favoritism like never before. The good 'ol boy network phenomenon is alive and well before enactment of NSPS. NSPS will lead to people bringing their bosses fish that they caught and mowing their bosses lawns to gain favorable job status. There will be no benefit to helping new people do their job with this approach. Senior employess will be cutting their own throats if they give new employees any tricks of the trade away. The shipyard had a major problem with this many years ago but the universal pass/fail method of rating personnel has done away with the "If I show you how to do something, you will know as much as me" anti-team player philosophy that was prevalent.
