Sec. 9901.322 Setting and Adjustment of Rate Ranges It is of great concern that most of the money set aside will go to the individuals who are highly visible in this hospital facility, specifically, the doctors, nurses and analysts who are, of course, vital to this facility. As a Medical Records Technician, our coding drives the reimbursement of the hospital and our auditing of records for deficiencies hold the hospital's staff accountable in their documentation and that has a profound impact on JCAHO accreditation. There needs to be someone in our corner who will fight this battle for us as so often we are the ones left behind when it comes to funding for new office equipment and supplies. Our military leaders are great when they come in as our chiefs, but they are soon gone, to be replaced by a new leader. We see little promise in salary upgrades or equipment upgrades. Our department could be lost in the shuffle easily. Is there a solution on the rate range for our department?
