1. Section 9901.212. With regard to establishing pay bands, in my office I manage a media area along with several engineers. My degree is not an engineering degree, and not in the Civil Engineering Career Program. So although we all work on the same level I would not likely be in the same pay band for the same type work. How would you account for this? 2. Section 9901.353. With regard to management setting the pay band anywhere within the band when an employee is promoted to a higher band - there should be some logic to follow versus randomly picking pay out of the void. What is the reasoning here? If another employee is promoted but not given equal pay would not this be a problem with regard to equal pay equal work?
