I thought the document was well written. The only thing I'm dissappointed in is that it does not clarify very well how special salaries are transfered into the new pay banding. I feel there should be examples and the pay bands themselves published for review so we can realize the impact before it occurs for us. I'm concerned what the pay bands will be broken into according to the current system. Being a high step in the grade I'm in I'm wondering will I start out at the top of the band I'm placed in (therefore not able to really advance any further as has been the case for many others I've known for years) or will I be on the lower end of a higher band with plenty of opportunity to advance. How will this be handled. Thank you for your time and consideration of my comments. Andrew Hartmann
