I oppose the proposed regulations to establish a new human resources management system for DoD - NSPS. I understand that often times it is necessary to change the way government does business and am willing to accept those changes IF - and that's the operative word - the change is beneficial to we the people, we the people are presented the truth, we the people are well informed, we the people agree to and support such change. Those are iffy questions that I believe have not been answered with an honest yes. Ben Franklin said only too well, "Problem is that government gives its leaders power and in the end leaders want all the power and lose the ideal upon which power was originally granted..." He was also the one who said,...."the ordaining of laws in favor of one part of the nation to the prejudice and oppression of another, is certainly the most erroneous and mistaken policy...An equal dispensation of protection, rights, privileges, and advantages, is what every part is entitled to, and ought to enjoy".... DoD would be wise to back up, take a long, deep breath, and admit that what has been proposed is, in reality, a bad motive hidden under a good one.
