Dear Sir, I have been a government employee for 18 years and I never had a problem with TDY. I've traveled quite often, but now I have a small child to care for. My wife is a physical therapist and works days and I work nights, and there would be no possible way for me to travel at this time, and to be able to be reprimanded in such a crisis would just be wrong. Please see your way clear to manage with heart and compassion and not fear.
