I hope that if NSPS is implemented that it has a positive impact on all the employees. Since we are reverting back to a system that did not work thirty years ago, I think we can only hope and PRAY that everything goes well. We are going back to recession! For the TRUE outstanding performers, I hope they are recognized for their hard work. I hope that the same old poor performers that only pretend to perform outstandingly get nothing for nothing but a kick in the behind. Meanwhile, the same sorry old person that the boss sees as an outstanding performer peruses the newspaper all day and keeps the chair cushion hot but doesn't performs a lick of work and keep getting promotions. The poor performers that are rated as outstanding performers only hold a high school education and do not have the slightest idea what it takes to do an outstanding job, and in most cases, they do not comprehend some of the smallest tasks and take longer to complete their work and I say they shouldn't get a dime for nothing but get their sorry behinds in school and get an education and then they can fuss about performance! College is discipline and out of it comes some of the greatest workers ---go figure.
