Hello There is no way that this so-called National Security Personnel System can be fair. In the U.S. Air Force Aim Points dated 3-15-2005, there was an article concerning a reverse discrimination suit against the Air Force that had been settled for $880,000. The nine white male civilians challenged what they said was a quota system that gave higher appraisals to women and blacks. The evidence included e-mails and admissions from supervisors that they were pressured by Air Force headquarters and the Pentagon to increase the appraisals of blacks and women and decrease those of other workers (white males). Now, not only are we going to base promotions on a flawed system, but we are also going to base our pay raises on this flawed system also. With affirmative action in place and pressure from the Pentagon and other government agencies to give blacks and women higher appraisals than white males, white males are going to be discriminated against even more than now. This is a travesty. This is flat-out wrong and unethical. Thanks for your consideration.
