If the money is less and the job security is the same why will people stay in Gov Service? What is the support structure for the fast moving employees? It appears that civil servants are now as deployable as active duty military with less support. How will persoanl politics be kept out of demotions, firings, and extra raises? Is it to become those the 'Boss' lkes get permoted and everyone else gets the boot? What training and oversight will the front line supervisors reciece? Current mangent came up thru old system, how are they going to teach what they never knew? How will current contracts be effected by the Pay Banding? The employee takes the hit and can't leave till contract fulfilled? What atre the provisions for moving and selling houses with such short notice? Will this remove the barrier from going to work for a contractor in less than six months? Military retire then go to work for Contractor, are we removing this barrier on Civilian side as a incentive? Will this speed up hiring? Is probation reduced?
