I think the system is just fine the way it is. Taking away the overtime pay for WG and whoever else, sounds like we want to break the same laws that we put in place years back that were ment to treat the common worker with respect and dignity. Fairs day PAY for a fairs day work. Why takeaway so much of the union's say ? Here we go again, think about why the union was started up years back. Help the worker, someone to stand by you, so you can,t just be let go or terminited for no reason. SOUNDS like we are trying to repeat history again.Going way back to when there were no child labor laws and one man has the power to let you prosper or parish. To work for the federal government is a great experience and career. To have to start working for say, One man and let only that one man make all the final say about my work and pay just isn't right. If he or she likes you your in nomater what your performace is. If he or she dislikes you for whatever reason look out. No union to help you, on other person to say anything for you. We are moving down a road that takes us back in time not forward.
