NSPS 2005-001 and or RIN 3206-AK76 / 00790-AH82 Labor Relations: The proposed changes will take Labor Relations back a hundred years. All the hard work done by both Labor and Management to reach a good working relationship was for naught. We should be moving ahead not backward. Performance Management: This whole section is a joke. Labor has worked hard for years to do away with the "good ole boy" system only to have the Government promote that very thing. Pay and Classification: Pay banding and all the other proposals will do just the opposite of what the proponents want. You can not recruit/retain top employees by taking away incentives, pay increases, etc. The DOD is supposed to support the Warfighter and the Veteran yet they want to do away with Veteran's preference. In conclusion this proposal is bad for the Federal employee, bad for the Government and bad for AMERICA! It harkens back to 1938-39 Germany. First they take away your rights in the name of National Security then they march you into the showers. Just a darn good thing that the Congress and Senate don't have to follow any of the laws, rules and regulations they pass.
