Agency: Department of Commerce, National Processing Center Docket ID: NSPS-2005-01 RIN #: 3206-AK76 Subpart B -- Classification Sec. 9901. 344 Other Performance Payouts. This section gives discretion to the 'authorizing officials' to make, any time they see fit, to determine what constitutes an extrodinary individual performance reward. There are no protections for employees with extenuating circumstances or any employee with a disability from being consitantly overlooked and all around ignored for their contributions to the mission of DoD. There are manners in place at this time for rewarding extrodinary performance by employee(s) which the Department could utilize at their discretion but has choosen to make a specific section within this new personnel system for doing so. There should be no opportunity for any manager or authorizing official to overlook any performance by any of the employees within DoD for rewards.
