Section 9901.910 Paragraph (a)(2) Delete “tour of duty”. Assignments to unfavorable or extended shifts is sometimes viewed as a penalty. Allowing management and employees reach agreement on how to fill unpopular shifts prevents misunderstanding and builds a sense of fairness in the burden sharing. Section 9901.910 Paragraph (b) Change, “Management is prohibited from bargaining over the exercise…” Management is prohibited from collective bargaining over the exercise….” This paragraph should refer to collective bargaining as opposed to bargaining with an individual.
