Agency: Department of Commerce, National Processing Center Docket ID: NSPS-2005-001 RIN #: 3206-Ak76 Subpart E -- Staffing and Employment Section 9901.514 Non Citizen Hiring This section allows for the hiring of non American citizens to be hired in America's Department of Defense. When I started working in the federal sector, you had to have a high school diploma and be an American citizen, especially now after 9-11, why would any branch of the American government wish to employ any person that is not a citizen of these United States? This section also give the discretion of the Department to appoint a NON AMERICAN CITIZEN to perform duties within our Department of Defense. American citizens are the ones that have helped to defend this country for hundreds of years. Why would this Department wish to employ any person which does not reside within the borders of the United States as a natrualized citizen? The Department, according to this section could appoint a non citizen at any point when there is no qualified citizen to fill the position. I see that the Department could appoint a non citizen when they want just by stating that no qualified citizen was available for the position, so our own Department of Defense could possibly employ a forgeiner that could also indirectly support terrorism, would that not be a wonderful thing for our government?
